That sounds like a good idea. We can help take care of each other and make sure that we don't overdo it.
[She liked that idea, and it was a little comforting because it meant that he'd take care of himself. Makoto felt a little selfish about it, but it also meant that he was thinking of her as well.]

[Atsushi nods in agreement. He wants to make it easier for her and knows she probably wants to get to bed now... But first, he gently grabs her sleeve.]

There’s so much more that he would say, if he had the energy. That he’s glad she isn’t gone for good, he’s so sorry that she ever died at all. He won’t make that mistake again. From now on, he’ll actually protect her.]

[Mokoto nodded, holding a hand up to her chest as she felt like her heart might leap out of it. There was a lot that she wanted to say too, but she wasn't really sure if she should, or if she could. She had to think about Usagi, and about Atsushi.]

[She smiled a bit, though she felt a little guilty at the same time. Everything had gone wrong, and yet Sushi was still being so nice and comforting. He really was special.]
